Chess has been shown to develop multiple cognitive and emotional skills that will benefit your child throughout their entire life. But teaching the game of chess to younger children has always been challenging. Not anymore!! This beginner chess course is designed for children 3 years and up! Each week will follow along with the award-winning Story Time Chess Game. The game of chess comes alive, and the rules and strategy of the game are woven through fun and engaging stories. Each lesson is designed to teach a specific piece, followed by chess exercises for practicing how to use that piece. Concluding this 10 week course your child will have learned each piece and will use all of them together as they play full games of standard chess!
